  2. I'm sometimes worried about my Japanese, but the teachers' instructions are easy to understand.

I was amazed by the delicious Japanese food I had when I once visited Japan on vacation, so I decided to enroll in this school because I wanted to learn about Japanese cuisine. Due to taking classes with Japanese students, I was worried about communicating well with them and keeping up with the class. However, my classmates are very kind, and the teachers are very attentive and teach in a way that is easy to understand, so I am able to keep up even though I sometimes struggle with Japanese.
Kyoto has many restaurants and eateries, so I can go hunting for nice places to eat with my friends when classes are over and on days off. Every day is an adventure!

    • Q1 What concerns did you have before you enrolled?
A1 Unlike Japanese language schools, you take classes together with Japanese students, so I was very anxious whether I would be able to work well with Japanese students and keep up. When I actually started classes, my classmates were very kind, and the teachers explained everything very thoroughly and clearly. Even if I still have some difficulties with the Japanese language, I am able to keep up with the classes! I’m glad I enrolled in Kyoto Culinary Art College.
    • Q2 Please leave a message for international students who want to join us!
A2 When I came to Japan as a tourist, I was amazed at the delicious food and realized I wanted to learn how to cook Japanese cuisine. Kyoto is filled with restaurants and eateries, so when classes are over and on days off, I can go hunting for nice places to eat with my friends. Every day is an adventure! The open campus event presents an opportunity to get a feel for the school and its teachers, so I hope you will join in and participate.
